Roti Jala (The Net Bread) Food Recipe

Ingredients ( Serving Size: 3-4 )

1 3/4 cup flour

1 1/2 cup skim milk

1/2 cup water

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tablespoon butter

Directions

1.      In a Mixer, mix all ingredients except the butter.

2.      Heat a pan over medium heat and grease it with butter.

3.      Moving quickly, lightly drizzle the batter onto the pan in a circular motion to form a lacy, net-like pattern. Cook until bottom is golden brown.

4.      When the batter is cooked all the way through, remove from heat. Fold Roti Jala in half twice, forming a triangle or quarter circle.

Serve with curry or stew.
