4 hot dog buns
5 cl soy sauce
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. tomato paste
Peel 4 carrots. Cut them to fit easily into a hot dog bun and round off the ends to make them look like sausages.
Take a sauté pan that can hold all the carrots flat. Bring 15 cl water, 5 cl soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp tomato paste to the boil.
Cover and cook the carrots for 20 minutes, turning them 3-4 times, until they are cooked but retain their texture.
Finely chop 1 onion. Fry in a little sunflower oil, drain on kitchen paper.
Open 4 hot dog buns. Garnish with chopped lettuce, cucumber slices and pickles.
Slide a carrot into each bun, add mustard and ketchup to taste. Sprinkle with fried onions and enjoy!
