Fruit Custard
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 SERVINGS:
- 2 cups of milk
- 3 teaspoons of custard powder
- 6-8 teaspoons of sugar
- Half cup of mixed fruits ( apple, banana, grapes, strawberry)
DIRECTIONS :
- Pour milk in a saucepan and start heating over a medium high heat.
- Combine the custard power and a very small amount of water in a small bowl.Mix thoroughly.
- Add this mixture to boiling milk, stir continuously.
- Add sugar as the milk starts to thicken. Continue stirring.
- Remove the mixture from the heat when it reaches the desired consistency.
- Allow the mixture to thoroughly cool.
- Add chopped fruits and nuts.
- Chill in refrigerator for half an hour.
- Serve.
